Our Mission

Our mission is to help Soulard residents understand Missouri's medical cannabis program through information that is clear, locally relevant, and easy to follow from one stage to the next.

Soulard's identity is shaped by its long history, historic brick architecture, compact streets, neighborhood businesses, residential blocks, and enduring connection to the Soulard family.

Although Missouri establishes the medical cannabis requirements, we want residents to have information that feels connected to the neighborhood where they actually live rather than reading like generic statewide material.

Who We Are

Our service is designed for Missouri patients at different stages of the medical cannabis process, including first-time applicants, returning patients, caregivers, cultivation applicants, and families helping qualifying minors.

Soulard's development stretches back to the early history of St. Louis. Antoine Soulard arrived in the city in 1794, and his family later became closely associated with the land that developed into the neighborhood bearing his name.

Today, Soulard remains known for its historic buildings, residential streets, restaurants, local businesses, public gathering places, and designation as a historic district.

We use that local context to make our patient information more relevant to residents of the neighborhood.

Our Commitment

Clear Patient Information: We explain Missouri's certification and registration process in a practical sequence so patients can see what needs to happen at each stage.

Respect for Confidentiality: Medical history and personal information should be handled carefully throughout the consultation and certification process.

Missouri-Based Guidance: Our information focuses specifically on Missouri's medical cannabis requirements instead of applying rules from another jurisdiction.

Support for Different Patient Needs: A new applicant, renewing patient, caregiver, cultivation applicant, or parent assisting a minor may each require different information.

Straightforward Next Steps: Certification is only part of the process. Patients still need to complete Missouri's application, provide the required information, pay applicable fees, and receive state approval.

Joining Hands with the Community

Soulard's history and public spaces remain an important part of neighborhood life.

One of its best-known landmarks is Soulard Market, whose history dates to 1838, when Julia Soulard donated land to the City for use as a public market. The neighborhood also includes Soulard Market Park, Pontiac Square Park, historic residential streets, restaurants, and other gathering places used by residents and visitors.

Providing responsible medical cannabis information means discussing more than how someone obtains a patient identification card.

Patients should also understand Missouri's rules concerning cannabis possession, purchasing, cultivation, public consumption, and impaired driving.

Missouri does not permit public marijuana consumption, and medical patient status does not authorize someone to drive or operate a motor vehicle while under the influence of marijuana.

Our Vision

We want Soulard residents to have a medical cannabis resource that is understandable, neighborhood-specific, and consistent with Missouri's regulated program.

From the first medical evaluation through registration, approval, and future renewal, patients should be able to identify where they are in the process and what remains to be completed.

Our long-term goal is to make Missouri's medical cannabis system easier to navigate while encouraging informed and responsible participation.
